It is so nice to find someone who feels the way I do. It seems a lot of people (even other stay at home Moms I know) are convinced you have to feel something is missing being home with your children. There is a lot of outside pressure to "contribute to society" and do something meaningful through work. Being here full time for my children, without other distractions, is very meaningful and fulfilling for me. I am very content, but others don't seem to believe that can be possible! I make time for myself through hobbies, community volunteer work, and being active with my children's school. My children see many friends and classmates who don't have so much parental involvment, and they respect me for what I am doing. They know I am educated as a Registered Nurse and am a very smart lady- I don't have to prove that to them. I have however, proved to them that they are the most important thing in my life, and they can always count on me.
